Although we already assumed this to be the case, Speight confirmed he won’t be transferring to WMU.

He's from Virginia. Cavaliers have a senior and junior QB on roster right now but also two freshmen on roster. He could conceivably compete for a spot there.
I don't think Virginia Tech would have a spot for him but he could realistically go closer to home and be sure he gets out of the Big Ten.
