Fuente saved the program, won a conference championship, got us ranked higher than we have ever been ranked and left Tiger football in great shape. Norvell kept the ball rollong. The past few years have been fun. If we win next week we will play in our first ever conference championship game.

I don't take any joy in him getting beat down in two different, yet embarrassing, ways in two weeks.

Fuente put Memphis Football on the map.. Can’t be mad or wish ill will towards him but the last 2 play calls were goofy.. 3rd and 1 in GT territory with plenty of time left and he passed on 3rd and 4th down.. He should have ran the ball and gotten the 1st down.. Announcers didn’t understand either.. But I’m forever greatful for his time here..

I loved JF as a coach. He, for sure, did Memphis a solid. I will always pull for him. He even put MN on our search committee radar by visiting Arizona State and seeing their offense.

Will always respect him for what he did here. I don't think I have to support him now. I'm okay with people doing so, and I might myself had he handled things differently here when he left.
