These exhibition games don't mean much, folks (and we all know that).

We lost to NAIA Martin Methodist several years back and made it to the Coosa championship game.

Yahoo Sports article predicting CUSA as #12 conference.

https://sports.yahoo.com/ranking-new-col...13481.html

Points to recent wins in tourney as proof we've been underrated. No doubt that's been true of our top teams, hopefully we all step up and actually make this happen in RPI ranking.

We were 23rd last year, and 21st the year before. That'd be a huge step forward.

Yeah it would, I don't think this guy evaluated us top to bottom. I'm hopeful we'll take a step forward as a league but 12th might be too ambitious.

RE: Basketball
I just know this Western team is fun to watch...

at least when things are going right. As a fan I enjoy watching team basketball. Especially these young kids that comes in bust their ass and others around them know they must do the same. The extra practice with the summer trip seems to be paying off. Confidence is a huge part of this game and I believe that is going to help out early on. But we will get to see how this team reacts after most likely getting the dog snot knocked out of them around Thanksgiving.

That will tell you more about a team than anything....losing brings out those 'me' players faster than anything

I agree confidants are a big part of the game. Just make sure that person isn't wearing a wire for the FBI when you tell them your secrets.

Wow just one noticeable mistake....

I'm improving 04-cheers

What is in my mind hardly ever reaches my finger tips. I will type something then a day later go back and read it and go... what was I saying. Can't blame it on liquor...I hardly ever drink. Other than a beer, maybe 2, if I'm fishing or at the beach...those type of things

The top of our league is easily #12. The bottom is what hurts us and the fact that we have so many of them.

I won't venture to predict anything because I'm superstitious, but here's our OOC...

East Central
@ Texas State
@ Island of the Bahamas Showcase (3 games)
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
@ Tulsa
Ottawa
@ Utah Valley
@ Oklahoma
Houston Baptist
Bethany
@ Nebraska

Hopefully we'll represent C-USA well.
