That agreement was briefly explored last summer and abandoned, after UTEP went 0-753 in scrimmages against Texas high schools.

Obviously not. If there are no P6 wins, then they didn't win a game that mattered.

But what if this g4 team had a win over a couple ranked g4 teams??

This long running rumor needs to be put to rest.

First, the scheduling just doesn't line up. The high schools are unwilling to adjust their conference schedule to fit the needs of the G4 and who would blame them.

Second, CBSSN has no desire to take on additional G4 inventory citing lack of viewership and brand recognition.

Something interesting in this regard; the rumor is CBSSN is considering replacing their current G4 contracts with High School football programming after they expire. If this rumor is true, it could be the motivation behind the scenes for reason #2.

I can appreciate your fight for the little guys out there. I really do.

First this scenario is ridiculous. The P6 has a policy of only one pity ranking to the G4 at a time. For a team to beat multiple of these pity rankings in a year is a scheduling eclipse! Keep in mind these are still pity rankings and don't really count. So I stand by my assessment, If there are no P6 wins, then they didn't win a game that mattered.

Are footballs used in g4 games 3/4 or 5/8ths normal size? Why do they fill them with helium?

How is the best way to tell a G4 team that their win over Nevada doesnt count as a quality win?

Is it true that all G4 coaches have commercial drivers licenses to drive the teams to their games?

Also, I heard that some G4 teams select a Team Mom through a player vote, and sometimes it’s just the head coach’s wife. Can you tell me which is more common?

Having not played in a G4 game myself, it is hard to answer this question. Also current and former G4 players are biased sources. It is very possible that the balls look normal sized because the G4 players are just that much smaller.

HAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!!

G4 fans will constantly tell you about their "tough" G4 opponents. There is no convincing them otherwise. Just because a school's name includes the State name it, doesn't mean the program is worth watching or a quality win. UMass, Nevada, and Wyoming are common programs associated with this issue.

My advice, Just congratulate them on their win over a no name program and hope to move on from the ridiculous conversation.

Gentlemen of the P6, I appreciate your great response and questions today. It has been an honor educating you in the ways of the G4. Please leave additional questions in this thread, and I will answer as many of them as I can tomorrow.

It has been rumored that the strength training regimen of all G4 teams only consists of tossing off to images of P6 down markers or P6 helmet stickers. Can you confirm or deny this rumor?

RE: Ask The Expert
Earlier this season I had a rare encounter with a G4 game broadcast on television on a certain network known for European soccer broadcasts. At just that moment the batteries on my remote died and I was subjected to said game for a few minutes until I could replace them.

My question is, given the quality of the broadcast, are most G4 games filmed by professionals with their cellphones or do they just hand out cellphones to individuals in the crowd to film the game?

Also for their announcers - do they pay those guys or are those just interns looking for experience to land their first job out of college?
