Great crowd for UCF

Easily our worst game of the year. Glad we got it out of the way while winning. Just keep winning. Too many opportunities blown in the red zone. Just gotta keep winning.

Ha right. I mean SMU had 200 more yards and all the turnovers right? Easily their worst game and our super bowl.

I didn't really pay attention to SMU until tonight but have a lot of respect for their team now. QB is a bit of a primadonna but that makes it more fun. The new OKorn on the block

4th and 3 and the leading WR in the nation drops the easiest ball of the night. Give me a break. 1st rd draft pick with the drops tonight. UCF made the plays that SMU couldn’t. SMU gave it away.

Fair. It’s hard to go undefeated and we just didn’t play well tonight. Still found a way to win. Should count for something. Clearly not our usual performance.

We had the worst performance of the year against you guys. We coughed it up so many times and played like crap on offense. We tried to give it away.

Going undefeated is extremely difficult. Everyone will give us their best shot. Only one team in the AAC has gone 8-0 (UCF in 2013) and it was not easy. Lots of close games. It still ended up being one of the strongest UCF teams ever. UCF is now the hunted so expect every game from here on out to be closer.

I mean before tonight I would have ranked you guys in top 15. After tonight I think 18 is probably about right, which is good considering where you came from but it isn't where you could be. I'm just saying I don't see it being your dream season but still a good team maybe best in aac.

Ugly game for both sides, my heart was racing on SMUs last 2 drives. Lots of dropped/bad passes by SMU there at the end, but give some credit to UCF pass rush and secondary for making SMU make mistakes

I'm not ready to panic yet. We had many close, ugly games like this in 2013. Just glad to escape with the W. Good game SMU, I hope we don't see you again in the CCG! Navy and Memphis will have their hands full

We had 5 turnovers all season and had 3 tonight. UCF tried to give it away, SMU wouldn't take it.

Beating the same team twice is even harder.

Smacking around Memphis has got old, and this is all Shere has.

Whatever anybody says, that was a great game. Congrats to both sides.

I was pulling for UCF, b/c we need to beat out SMU first, but that was a fun game from beginning to end. UCF's closest game so far.

Previously, it was a win over Navy by 10, and second, believe it or not, was a 27 point win over Memphis.

I have watched both teams as much as possible. I don't see how this was anywhere close to SMU's worst game of the season. The last 2 games, they beat Tulsa by 4 when Tulsa got a TD called back on a silly penalty, and before that, they beat UC in OT after converting a 4th and 26 to avoid losing in regulation. And before that, they lost by 13 to Houston, before UH put King at QB.

Anyway, tonight was what CFB is all about. Great fun to watch, as long as your team doesn't lose.
