Can't we just have one year, this one freaking year where we might be good and not lose a major player. We've been mediocre for the past 15 years or so, and chances are might be mediocre for another 10 years. But this year we had alot of pieces to actually do something and of course something like this happens. Duke and all the big boys will get to reload every year, it will take Mick another 5-10 years again to put the pieces back in place for a true contender.

Assuming its assault, hopefully it is a misdemeanor assault as opposed to felony assault. Also due to the political climate, I also hope it was not sexual assault, as that would most assuredly be the end of his career at the university.

The scuttlebutt is that Cumberlands girlfriend deleted her Instagram... could be nothing, but with all the doom and gloom on twitter I would put money down on him assaulting her.

His twitter is now locked as well, and as others have stated, both instagram accounts have been deleted.

Didn't Cumberland serve a one game suspension last season for undisclosed team rules violations? Based upon this morning's speculation and the absence of any public information, it's certainly possible yesterday's reported absence from practice could have been nothing more than some internal issue. And it could have been an excused absence for all we know.
