Did he not also say that we "NEED TO LOWER OUR EXPECTATIONS"? Did area high school recruits complain that he hadn't even contacted them ? Did Charlie Moore say Smith didn't even call him ? He does not care , Just my opinion .

The point is there is zero upside and some downside for Tubby allowing Mills to wear a KY shirt. All Tubby needed to do was ask Mills to put on a neutral pullover or coat, but his lack of PR sense or not caring caused him not to perceive a potential issue.

I thought that it was a great talk by a guy who played on a National Championship team. And, no, he did not play for the Memphis Tigers when he won that. He played for Kentucky, thus the Kentucky shirt. It's his identity.

Some of y'all need to get real. If Mike Norvell got Nick Saban to speak to our football team, are you telling me that Saban could not wear an Alabama shirt?
