I think most Shocker fans are aware that we might not do as well. In fact, we expect it. That's a relative thing though. 14-4 in the AAC would get us a way better seed than 17-1 in the MVC .. we are ok with that. Most of our confidence doesn't come from beating up on the MVC though. Its the fact that WSU is 10-5 in the tourney since 2013. 7 of those 10 wins came against better seeds too. 6 were against Power conference teams.

So not saying we will dominate everything, but we've held our own better in the tourney better than any team in the AAC recently (you could count UConn's championship run, but the years after that have been rough). The tourney is really the best "comparison" that can be made, since obviously AAC > MVC

BTW, I believe that the Memphis / WSU series record is 10-10, so we'll just call you guys historically equal to us. Not sure how you stack up against those big guys.

Wichita State is in the VCU category. If they sustain their success they'll move up to the Gonzaga Category. Then maybe they could get to the Indiana category. Then with 30 years of sustained success, maybe they could move into the KU, UK, NC, Duke, UCLA category.

All I have to go on is the scoreboard. Had we not let off the gas a couple years back we'd have beaten K|Uck by 20 a short drive from their campus. We've played Kentucky even (2 pt. losses) on their neutral/home NCAA court. If we get them both in home and home match-ups every year since 2012 I like my chances at being .500. Interestingly this jibes perfectly with Kenpom, the most accurate predictor of a basketball teams potency we currently have.

So I ask you again, where do you think the ChicKUnhawks and the Wildcats would have finished in this league the last 5 years?

Tulsa's probably in the Creighton Category / Iowa State / Dayton Category. Just behind Butler, WSU, and VCU.

Which scoreboard are you referring to? The all time series versus Kansas is 12-2 in their favor and Kentucky is 2-0. Seems like you may want to look at the scoreboard again. So 2 -14... well done I must say.
