Hall is smart and disciplined...

But from what I saw yesterday he doesn't appear to be very fast or he was loafing on some plays.

As long as we're giving players props, here's to Patrick Taylor, who ran down from behind the UH player who intercepted us near the end of the first half. Keeping him out of the end zone cost them 4 points.

Genard Avery is pretty damn good too, we just don't have enough of those guys, we get a few more going like Carter, Hall and Avery. We also need to find us a real D Coordinator, hate our schemes, we are never lined up when the other team snaps it and our blitzes sometimes come from 20 yards away it seems, I really hope he finds someone else...but he won't!!


And Hall was terrible last night

Carter is going to be one of the best corners to ever come out of our program. Hall and Avery are still our best defenders at this point.

Hall was not great last night but go rewatch the game. I counted multiple times he was clearly being held, and obviously held. They were going to keep doing it until it was called and it just never got called, tough to be in position with that.

Had 14 tackles and 1 int last night...def d player of the game.

I saw it too. No doubt. They were outside the arms holding and refs refused to call it. Coogs can whine about refs all they want, but they got away with that on those 3rd down conversions.

And Hall was terrible last night

Coach Ball is doing a heckuva job this year. With the adversity the unit has faced, to see them getting better and executing - with so many youngsters. Great gameplanning and getting the right guys in position. Good young talent too.

There are definitely some diamond players.
It is even better that there is someone to step up and help out.
