RE: Marshawn Wilson
Anything you get from Lacey to me is a bonus. I think expectations for him are a bit too high. He averaged only a few mins and few points per game at Rider

Geno, Key, Bradley should be solid, we just need Thorpe or Hamilton or someone else to step in. I will eat crow if I’m wrong, but let’s not assume they will stink
In many of the past pre-seasons, we have had excellent players on paper, people here had predicted the sky, and look what happened. As long as we have the same coach, I have no confidence whatsoever that this team will be any better than mediocre.

Maybe that's a good sign. NIU is seen as having no talent , no hype, maybe that means they will be good

RE: Marshawn Wilson
It just seems like any player we have that can score points will probably be depressed by the offense being a muddled-through afterthought. I'll be surprised if we don't lose our top scorer or two at the end of this year, leaving us "young" again next year.
I think they'll still be better than the 5-win teams we had not long ago, though I realize that is a REALLY low bar.

German seems to be made of some different ingredients than some other players coming through here. I am guessing he sticks.
Here is the NBCsports preview , pegging NIU 9th in the MAC. http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2...ower-lies/
Zips progged way down there at 10 which surprised me. One thing common among every preview I have seen, this should be the year of the Western Michigan Broncos.
