An undersized QB with less than a cannon, but had the it factor in every other way.
Gotta be honest, have not hated the Cows quite as much since Grothe left.

He got all the blame last season when it was still a 6 win improvement and he was playing behind a terrible OLine. Message board fans & social media would find any reason to trash him. He ended up deleting his Twitter Account over the Summer.
WTF is wrong with people?!? That is sad.

At the rate he's progressing, he should go pro next year....and we won't have to play against him three more times.

Unfortunately for you, 5'10" 170lb QBs aren't very sought after by the NFL. So he'll be at UCF his senior year.

For me the hate has died down a little since we joined the same conference. It was blood boiling passion hate for me when they were in the Big East and us in CUSA and they deemed us unworthy to play against and the program tried to keep us on a different level lobbying against us joining the Big East, etc.
Now, they're our biggest rival... but it's a respect hatred. Not as strong, but probably better...
I mean, ****... I'm actually hoping they don't lose a game until Black Friday this year so we can have an epic fun rivalry game. That never would have been possible for me before... would have wanted them to lose every game regardless.

True dat; I didn't realize he's only 5'10"; the camera must add 4"

What do UCF fans know and think of him?
He has greatly approved his decision making so far this year over last year (helped by an OL that has improved 100% during the off-season)...and yes, he is from Oahu and still gets a lot of pub back home which is great for UCF...as I'm sure Frost wouldn't mind another Islander joining the team in the future (maybe a Samoan Linemen or a tall WR et al).

How tall is this kid really. If he is "listed" at 5'10', then chances are he's about 5'8"-5'9". I have never seen one QB ever who was taller than his listed height.
Not that it matters. If he can get the job done, then he can get it done.

RE: UCF QB from the Island Braddah
He's listed at 5'11, but rumor is he's closer to 5'10.
I actually don't think fans were all that brutal last year. He's the starting qb at a D1 university who replaced a reasonably well liked senior. Being able to handle criticism sort of comes with the territory. If handling it takes deleting your twitter account, that's probably a good move anyhow because Twitter is a complete time suck to begin with.
So far this season, the numbers speak for themselves. The kid's flat out remarkable. It's like the tiny glimpses of brilliance we saw last year are now like, 90% of his play.
Good luck to the rest of the conference for the next 2.5 seasons dealing with this kid.
