Instead...crickets.

What are they hiding?

The fact they were sent there by Obama?

So. If the plan or policy was/is wrong or dangerous should it have been scrapped? Should they have been better protected? trump is CIC now, not Obama.

Regardless, the lack of ANY public comment from either trump or pence while they have all sorts of time to devote to the meaningless anthem flap with the NFL is a disgrace to these brave Americans sacrifice.

Can you provide a quote from you expressing similar outrage over the men killed in Benghazi? I'll wait...

I'm not the vice-president or president supposedly in charge of our nation. Or the majority of the Republican party (and many posters here) who blamed nearly every one other than the terrorists for the deaths in Benghazi.

By contrast, here's what Obama said the very next day:
https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the...taff-libya

I didn't ask you to assume any of those roles. I asked you to provide evidence that you were similarly outraged over the deaths of some of our military in Benghazi, an incident you may remember as occurring under the watchful eye of the previous administration whom you favored. The two events bear some resemblance so it should stand to reason you would be similarly outraged.

I just wonder how long they keep doubling down on this PR disaster.

I find liberals complaining about the cost of Pence attending the Colts game to be as odd as conservatives complaining about the cost of Obama's vacations.

It's part of the job.

I think people have an issue with it because he knew (or at least should have) he would be at that game a whopping 30 minutes.

The time he spent was irrelevant. Politicians often make 30 min appearances that require all the same advance work, planning, costs and security as this visit.

The investment is on the front end, not on the time spent in the seat.

It's a false equivalence. My outrage is at the response, or lack of one, form pence and trump. Obama gave an immediate response and an appropriate one.

No, I'm NEVER happy at the loss of ANY American defending our country. To suggest or assume otherwise solely because we have political differences should be beneath you.

Yep, especially when it comes to Trump. One can literally wake up each morning and check to see what the latest "outrage" is. Grab your popcorn and enjoy the show.

That is, but not doing one for nothing more than a cheap stunt. Hell, he even screwed up his tweet about it by using a photo from 3 years ago.

Cry me a river guys. We were all around during Obama. Your objections ring hollow.

Okay then.

The day after the attack, the video was suspected as the cause, so he said as much.

From the New York Times on September 12, 2012:
Quote:Fighters involved in the assault, which was spearheaded by an Islamist brigade formed during last year’s uprising against Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, said in interviews during the battle that they were moved to attack the mission by anger over a 14-minute, American-made video that depicted the Prophet Muhammad, Islam’s founder, as a villainous, homosexual and child-molesting buffoon. Their attack followed by just a few hours the storming of the compound surrounding the United States Embassy in Cairo by an unarmed mob protesting the same video. On Wednesday, new crowds of protesters gathered outside the United States Embassies in Tunis and Cairo.
Libya Attack Brings Challenges for U.S.

And subsequent intelligence also thought this and that was what Rice used on the morning shows. Later we found out this information was incorrect. This has all been covered here before as well as in the Republican investigations which cleared Rice.

Move along.

I swear to Huskie Jebus that if Donald Trump said: "Don't murder baby kittens!" the Democrat party would scream: "KILL ALL THE BABY KITTENS!!!!"

My guess is if the players don't take a knee, Pence gets to enjoy the game. Don't matter why he was at the game, the why, the how. You take a knee during the anthem you deserve to be walked out on by the VP of the United F'n States. If you are slamming Pence and not the players, you got issues.
