Go Bobcats?

I still think the only way we can win is to hold a team to only a couple scores. The offense hasn't been able to score more than about 12 a game. ULM has a good offense so this doesn't bode well but one can hope things start to get better for the Bobcats.

Should be good weather at least.

If you can't score on ULM's secondary you'll never score on anyone.

Secondary should play somewhat better. 3 true freshman are getting better each week. Marcus Hubbard 3rd game back from ACL Getting more comfortable. Not saying they’re going to ball but they should get better hopefully. Lol

RE: ULM at TXST
Looking at our remaining schedule, I see maybe two more wins . . .

. . . Unfortunately, this is not one of them . . . I just don't see our offense being able to put up enough points, while our D is surrendering about 31 or so per game (average).

Unless W finds a way for the O to produce points, or our D suddenly becomes "lock down," chalk up a ULM W.

. . . of course, I could be wrong . . .

Yeah, Go Bobcats . . .

Then this is probably a loss. Really needed your defensive line to suck.

DE Hybrid Caleb Tucker has 3.5 sacks in 4 games . Basically now has more room to rush because rest of DL is better.
Another RS Freshman DE Hybrid Turbo Starks finally in the mix too on pass rush. Kids super Quick.
They have both in on passing downs sometimes.

Our strength on defense is the LBs. I am hoping for a good game. It will probably be close for the first quarter or two and then ULM will pull away.

If memory serves me correctly, we haven't scored in the second half at all this season against FBS teams.

You'll have an opportunity Saturday. We may hang for a quarter or two, after that
not so much . . . . We just don't have the depth or experience . .

We seem to always have close games. Seems the home team, always wins too. Hope we can break that streak, but I expect a relatively close game.

We'll probably jump out to a lead, only to have the secondary blow it in the 4th. If your QB can throw at all Texas State might have a good game. I think the ULM rush D has gotten a bit better over the course of the season, and the D does get timely turnovers. Since the switch to Evans I have been impressed with the O. If he can keep improving and get consistent on the deepballs ULM will have a shot at beating everyone but App.

I wouldn’t say we don’t have a shot at App. Texas St. only lost by a TD to them. There is nobody in conference that any other team doesn’t have a shot at, especially since we play them at home. Definitely not saying we will beat them, but we do have a shot.

We always have a shot if Evans can connect on a deep ball. If not they’ll do what USM did and let us go deep with 50/50 balls but they were 0/100 balls. Didn’t help couple we’re drops. Have to get RJ Turner deep.

If Evans starts hitting those like he does in practice our O is going to be extremely scary and the number rushing offense in the SBC will really open up.

Had a chance to watch some of the TxSU v. UTSA game. The Bobcats have talent. This will be a close game.

I cant tell where the description of the position stops and the name of the kid starts...either way he sounds like a badass.
