Also, is it a chicken or goat that I sacrifice for UC basketball team health? I can never remember.

It seems that midnight madness events started dying a dog's death about 20 years ago. The only places that still do it are lame basketball only schools like xavier or maybe schools where no one gives a sh!t about football, like UK.

BTW, I'd recommend both chicken and goat just to be safe.

Ironically, both UK and X fans prefer goats.

for pleasure?

I would imagine it's safe to say we will announce the start of another good home-and-home series on the road in 2018-19 to balance future home/away games out, giving us OSU/UCLA/Xavier at home and Missisippi State/another quality opponent on the road. Any chance of Michigan still happening or is that dead?

Although doesn't the NKU series start next year at their place? So perhaps that will balance things out.

I just thought of something else... years ago, I remember finding a link on a Xavier forum to this message board where athletic directors would post scheduling requests for men's basketball. Does anyone know if that still exists and where to find it? I was surprised that the contents of the forum were public at the time.

Mick actually mentioned OSU contacted us through that service and he wasn't sure if it was for real.
