Well, USF does have an easier time dusting and cleaning the trophy case, what with all of your zero conference championships and bowl wins you can count on one hand... but with these recent posts and your post count, I'm starting to wonder if this is a UCF troll fake posting as a USF fan.
Heaven knows it wouldn't be the first time we've seen AAC fans posturing as something fake.
If we were in CUSA we'd be winning the championship every year. Seriously just give up already.
AAC may become the new "Cradle of Coaches" don't be surprised if your coach isn't the next UT Vols coach. The AAC just like the other four G5 conferences simply doesn't have the resources to compete with the P5.

They will always have to pretend to be the mythical P6. If the MWC from 2004-2011/12 couldn't pull off getting Power Conference status with TCU, Utah, BYU and San Diego State being giant killers then, no way does the AACk have a chance.
You see where Utah, BYU and TCU are now. They took the 1st train out because they knew it was never gonna happen.

You were in it. You never won it.
We were in it too. Beat Marshall every single year.
Too bad you don't have anything relevant to anyone on today's roster, kinda like the fact that our MAC versions have the opposite story. Here's a fact relevant to today's rosters...
No one on Marshall's roster has ever lost to an AAC team, because WE ARE the original Amer1can Power.

Local media in BG produced a tv special this year about the "Hilltop Hotspot" or something: Taggart, Petrino, Brohm. Back-to-back-to-back P6 coaches (but I guess Brohm's the only one who doesn't need an asterisk after his name).

I don't think the "cradle of coaches" is a bad image for attracting talented young coaches. While AAC schools are willing to pay in the millions for a coach (I believe Houston matched Texas' offer on Herman), the money is ultimately irrelevant when a big program comes calling. The only saving grace is that most successful AAC coaches imho won't automatically jump to graveyard program like Kansas or Maryland. They will hold out for something better.

Kansas, Maryland, Iowa State and even Oregon State if they come offering even one half times what that coach is making that coach is gone.

When has that happened recently? Coaches have gone to Texas, VaTech, Oregon, and Baylor.

You gonna lump corrupt Baylor in there. Matt Rhule will turn Baylor back into Baylor's rightful place in the B12, at the bottom. Just take a look at what happens to your program when you hire a guy from Temple -- Al Golden 32-25 17-18 in conference, fired mid way though 5th season at Miami, Stave Addazio 26-30 11-23 in conference at BC. Matt Rhule 0-5 with a loss to Liberty. Saint Francis (PA) (NEC) this last weekend beat Liberty. Liberty scored 48 on Baylor and a whopping 7 on Saint Francis (PA).
Everyone knew Herman was headed to Texas 2 years before it happened. The big money donors where never behind Charlie Strong at Texas.
