Cincinnati basically just conceded the game, they punt on 4th 6 at 37.

This is the proudest I've ever been as a Marshall fan! Tears are in my eyes, I hear "We Are The Champions" playing in the streets...

It's so emotional.

I mean, we just beat a P6 team!

We kicked their ass! We are better than I thought and playing well. If our OL can stay healthy we might have something to say about the league title. Lots of football left. Good win for the Herd!

Marshall 38
Cincinnati 21
FINAL

Marshall 3-1 after the non-conference. The 1 loss to an NC State team we basically controlled the whole 1st half. I think anyone who roots for the Herd will take our record right now.

Up next: Charlotte, and Marshall will finally get what might be their most physical defensive player on the field in Miami FL transfer ILB Juwon Young.

RE: Marshall - 38 Cincinnati - 21 FINAL
After seeing Cincinnati play this year and already knowing about this Marshall team the only thing surprising to me was how close the score was. I figured it would of been much larger. If you consider the late TDs that was more what I was thinking. Onto the next one. Time to payback some of these CUSA teams we owe and make your fans eat crow especially the ones making those stupid predictions like 5th in the East etc.

It made for a great laugh.

What are you on about? Next week we play a Charlotte team that returns most of the players that whipped us on our own home field last year. Now, we have to go to their place and their, umm, unique(?) environment. Clearly with all of our flaws we are the underdogs next week against a team that ran all over us last year.
