Also, whomever is in charge of audio should be fired, and our fans are complete idiots. On our second to last drive we had to waste a timeout because the damn pa guy was blaring music and the crowd was screaming. WE FORCED OUR OWN TEAM TO TAKE A TIMEOUT DUE TO CROWD NOISE. If we had that timeout we would have had 45 more seconds on the last drive. Who knows what might have happened.

I agree that the audio guy was an idiot but I dont think that was the reason for the timeout. Could be wrong

It absolutely was. I was right there and saw everything unfold, and heard how loud it was for them. Half the bench was telling people to quiet down as we're a player or two on the field.

Trust me I know it was loud. I was by a speaker and Clarke was trying to tell people to quiet down. I got impression they didnt like defense alignment. Could be wrong

Looked to me like they were trying to change the play but SW was having a hard time communicating, clock got down to 7 and they called a timeout. Either way the whole situation was amateur hour.

When did Fulgham cost a TD? I did miss some of first drive. Todd has been impressive. Shame nothing has come of Patrerson/Ellison/Hayes and Fulgham isnt doing much.

We’ve consistently churned out WRs, nit sure the deal this year.

FWIW, Ive heard that some of our upper classman WR have not been working hard in practice. Nobody was names but how many upper clasman do we have? I took it as Fulgham and the person implied I was right.

Yeah he is. Made it as a walkon. But maybe just took for granted. I like the kid, hope he turns it around.

I just watched the game again on DVR and had the opportunity to look at key plays in slow motion, especially some of the ref's calls. First, on the unnecessary roughness call on sideline -- than was in fact nothing better than a BS call. I got the feeling that the side judge made the call thinking it was targeting, and when the back judge (who had the front view) corrected him, he felt compelled to stick with unnecessary roughness. The flag should never have been thrown.

Now -- as to Bailey Cate. We all know he goes down like a leaf in the fall, and frankly, this was no exception. I watched it multiple times in slow motion, and though there were three Hilltoppers all around him, I could not see where any one of them hit him. The "no call" was correct.

I will say this about the game. WKU did not win this game we lost it! We got out coached. Now. in the past I have been very critical about the arm tackling we do on defense. I saw better hitting in this game then all of our other games combined! #25 Denzel Williams wow now that is how you play defense! Keep playing with that intensity and you may be playing on Sunday's one day. Sorry we lost with all the good we put into this game, but we did lose it, WKU did not win it!

Denzel also missed a key tackle on third down allowing for a first down. The tackling in the secondary was better but it still needs to imprOve.

Our front 4 causes havoc consistently and our secondary has to play better than it has. This defense would be extremely good with a good secondary. Addison is generally good but has his moments. The other side is all freshman so growing pains. The safeties are generally young. Love the heart of Thompson but they need some work.

In terms of coaching, they call a slant and go; WR gets a step and its a TD. We call an out and up, WR gets a step and it turns into an INT. Not to harp on SW, hes just a kid, but you have to live with those types of mistakes when hes 17 going up against a 22 year old QB.

Still had a chance and we fumble with a senior RB, who just got too happy and looked up.

I think he was trying to squib it. Davis’s kickoffs keep getting shorter for some reason

On the Offense: After the horrible unnecessary roughness call, unable to move the ball. We still had a 3 point lead and the offense could have put together a drive to put the game away, but didn't.

On the Offense: The fumble on 4th and 1. Turnovers lead to loses.

On the Defense: Actually, thought they played pretty well. Giving up 14 points in the 4th quarter was the nail in the coffin, but the unnecessary roughness phantom call led to the first TD, and the second TD was a perfectly thrown ball from WKU's QB.

On the fans: We are a ignorant fan base. Fourth quarter offense driving on the first 4th down attempt our crowd actually starts getting loud, WTH? I believe the band was actually playing between plays as well, then they didn't play after the late turnover when WKU had the ball.

On the Sound man: Fourth quarter offensive driving and we are playing pump-up music between plays, WTH?

I could go on but I'm frustrated. This could have been a win, but they just couldn't get over the hump. Maybe next week......

I don't think the onside kick was terrible, assuming they saw something that made them think it might work. Here's why. They were routinely returning kicks past the 30 yard line. The previous kickoff was nearly broken for a touchdown, and the onside kick gave them the ball around the 40. We probably lost 10 yards by doing it. Not the worst cost benefit situation.

This season has been frustrating since the Albany game when we didn't kick their ass and we started getting excuses from BW. BTW.....we will not be any better next year. These two classes were very poorly rated.

It means nothing but next years class is full of redshirt seniors that was rated at 2nd best in CUSA. By your standarnds they should be good if 247 rectuiting determines talent.
