Santa is the QB Saturday
We’ll see if Carey says it’s due to injury or otherwise, but Santa gets the start and it’s my understanding it’s his job to lose.

Thanks 7, he has outperformed Graham when given his opportunities so it is good to hear that it is his job to lose.

I hope he continues to improve because we need more than one scoring drive per game to be competative.

Did they say Graham was cleared? Either way I'm glad it's Santa

RE: Santa is the QB Saturday
as he should be, and the rest of the games this year and next...

Santa is clearly a better QB than Grahm. Graham may be a better runner and therefore open up the playbook more but Santa is hands down a much better passer.

sorry Ryan, you're a backup.

Santa is a much better runner than Graham. They've cut down I believe to reduce injuries...

Over their careers, Graham averages more yards per rush than Santa.

I would say that Santa looks much more agile when running compared to Graham.

It's not that santa looks great when he runs, but more so that Graham looks like hes running barefoot over Lego's when he is.

bahhaa...that's good, I instantly spew profanity when I see Graham start his cartoon scamper. Too be fair Graham has the longest play from scrimmage this year on a scamper, correct? Also to be fair he calls his own number 95% too much.

RE: Santa is the QB Saturday
I think SDSU is going to clamp down on Huff running the ball so Santa will have to carry it and get some serious yards. I do think he will surprise SDSU a little with his running ability, which he hasn't done much of so far this year. He will also have to throw accurately or it could be a long game.

I am really really dreading the NIU O vs SDSU D matchup. This is going to be really really really ugly to watch.

You guys are overrating this defense, lol

It's just NIU not running a real offense that concerns me more

They haven't give up a lot of points this year including a game against ASU and Stanford. In any case, I agree with MD's general drift that we can't go into a shell for most of the game. Which means Santa will have to throw more.

Not since FSU and OSU has NIU faced a team of this level. What a great test, that will hopefully make us that much better for conference play. Our young players (on both sides of the ball) will be forced to play like seasoned veterans; that's a huge ask.

Wow you guys are insanely overrating SDSU. They’re nowhere near the level the teams you just mentioned are.

This SDSU would lose to WMU last year.

I would agree (and really hope) that SDSU isn't on the same level as the OSU and FSU teams we played. Is this year's SDSU better than last year's because they weren't far off from WMU last year. They have beaten 2 P5 teams who have good wins after they lost to SDSU. This seems to be a real good team.
