Estimate on travel time to game w/ Cooper Young festivities?
If you want to be in your seat for the opening kickoff. I'm thinking at least 2 hours from Cordova so we're giving ourselves 2 and a half.

Just get down there before the CYF people show up. There's Tiger lane, the band plays, lots to do prior to game, weather's going to be great, come early and enjoy pregame!

Plenty to do before the game, so earlier is definitely better. May also depend on your parking situation. If you have a spot, you should be fine.

Please try to get there for the Tiger Walk. Coach last night at the Highland Hundred stressed how important that is to the players. And this will be our first Tiger Walk. Be there or be square! 8:30 estimate.

Are you going by horse and buggy?

If you leave early, you can be in your seat or Tiger Lane, (from Cordova), in 1 hour or less.

Not with the expected traffic that morning. 2 hour minimum.

I agree with selleg1. CY Festival might screw up traffic a little post game, but won't affect pregame traffic and especially parking much at all. We have had home games the same day as CY before, hasn't been too big a deal.

It usually takes us about an hour from Somerville. Being as we are leaving at 7:00 am, I doubt it will be effected tomorrow. Now, if it were a night game, I'd add at least 30 extra minutes.

How will CY traffic screw up someone coming from Cordova?

You take Walnut Grove to Holmes. Go south on Holmes until Central. Take a right then roll down Central (unless you want to go to Southern, then say on Holmes until Southern).

CY folks come from midtown and/or live in Midtown, mostly. Shant be an issue.

Cooper young is not the Indy 500 in terms of panic.

You'll be fine.

LOL Do close to 100k people live in Midtown? People come from all over the area for this event. I ate at Aldos Pizza today and the area was full of activity.

People come from all over Shelby County to attend the CY Festival. And there is a concert at The Shell tonight. Midtown is jumping with suburbanites.

Traffic would have been better before the game if the city hadn't decided to close lanes on Poplar at East Parkway to cut grooves in the street for traffic wires. Lets pick a busy day to do traffic lane work.
