So, the team leaves for Los Angeles in two day and the NCAA still hasn't said anything. While we know how it affects the use of players on the team, how does it affect the athlete?

Eligibility of transfer Steven Clark still unclear days away from WMU opener

Yeah, kinda sucks. As far as affecting him? It kinda pisses him off.

I can imagine. There is a bright side to it. If the NCAA waits until Friday to announce their decision to allow Steven to play, USC will be at a disadvantage having not been able to prepare their offense accordingly.

Well, it pissed me off, too. If the WMU coaching staff pretty much knows he IS going to be allowed, but the NCAA is just going thru "standard ops" paperwork at a slow pace -- I would hold off from letting it being known.

Problem I have here is that the travel team roster is waiting on this. Should he be reinstated after the team leaves or sets its travel roster can they charter him out to LA? Maybe Gores has a private jet set aside for this circumstance.

I'm sure he is already slated to travel with the team regardless.
