Yeah.

I was driving down Southern headed east.

I slow down for dude who is crossing the street even though I am a good ways away from him.

So, I start to speed back up because there are no other pedestrians crossing the street.

Dude reaches back and hits the button.

Lights start flashing, so I slow to a stop because I think there is magically someone crossing.

Dude looks at the lights, looks at me, looks at the lights, looks at me.

Then he walked off with his eyes glancing from me to the lights.

Looked like a hipster, too.

I just don't see what you're talking about in the OP being a thing in semester.

Way too many people crossing Southern for some idiot to fly past unless it's after hours or out of session.

And when was the last time there WAS an incident? Crosswalks were only recently added too.

Back in my day we played chiggan with the train.

But the Cars just stopped so we could get across...didn't they...or am I cherry picking my memories again.

I still climb on the damned train every now and then.

I last did it right before the last home game v. Houston in November. Granted that isn't the same line but several of us were trapped on the wrong side of Hollywood.
