I hated Hares motion. Liked Graham's. How'd that work out?? It's about making plays. Big ones. So Hall will just throw how he throws, make enough of the easy ones as necessary, and break off some big, game changers. Hopefully he's ready next season.
How much of this is coaching, does the NIU staff have a QB coach that can help a motivated kid grow and develop into a great college QB? They might, and I hope that they do but I honestly do not know. Is changing an 18 year old kid's throwing mechanics a mistake or something that should and needs to be done in a winning program? I get that you want to help a kid improve without destroying his confidence and that if you are not careful you can make things worse rather than better.
I suppose that striking the right balance is what makes a good/great coach.
I'd guess it's a philosophical matter from coach to coach. Like hitting instructors in baseball. But it probably has a lot to do with what the offense requires. The biggest mechanics case of recent years I recall was Tebow. I don't remember Florida wanting to change anything he did. But once he got drafted, Denver wanted to revamp his entire throwing motion.
If I had to guess how they handle Hall, I'd bet they just mess with minor issues to fix certain things...I.e. If the ball is sailing on him, get his elbow up higher. Stuff like that. That dude may run for more yards than he throws. He's that dynamic.
You made me think of Stacey Robinson ... time will tell

Jesus, stop

I just put him on "ignore" and I don't have to read his garbage anymore. The message board is So much more readible and I don't get stressed out thinking about a response. Try it for a week and I bet you don't change it.

True Fr OL Iassac Hawn is a star in the making. I will make an off the wall prediction before his 1st college game, he is right now a NFL "suspect". If he stays healthy will be a NFL player in 4 years.
