RE: Say it aint so, Joe!
Welp I've seen a lot more harm done with Roids, Meth and Pain Killers than Ecstasy.

But...I'm looking at the bottom line. who I'd rather have come into my store or meet me in a dark alley behind it.

A smiley E head or a toothless methhead.
A raging paranoid roidhead...a heroin addict outta H....

Bottom lines are harsh. Moral highgrounds are pretty places that exist only in our imagination.

Joe didn't hurt anybody...physically I mean.

Except for helping feed people's destructive addictive behavior.

I'm talking legal charges. But hey. Organize a lynch mob. There seem to be some fellow fans itchin to step down from their moral high ground for a sec or two.

No lynch mob. But I have worked with people with addictions for a number of years and have seen lives absolutely destroyed. I don't really have any sympathy when someone gets busted for dealing drugs.

Skipping out on a tab might have been a misunderstanding, or it might just be a sign of entitlement. smh

Making an illegal left turn is going to be a turning point in Joe's life. :D
Where does he go from here?

Then you should prolly add quite a few docs to your no sympathy list.

Poor sweet Tiger Woods....caught with 5 drugs in his blood....wonder where he got those.

What was the loaded gun for?

There's plenty of people in this city who aren't involved in gang life who carry illegal weapons.
What should happen to them if arrested?

Doctors over prescribing pain pills has reached epidemic proportions with devastating effects on our society. I wouldn't give them a pass any more than anyone else.

I don't think anyone in here has said this isn't a crime, if true.

You're getting hung up on the lack of victims.

College grad, 1st offense - hopefully he gets a chance to turn it around. It's the loaded gun, probably unregistered, that seems to be the biggest problem.

Confiscate the gun. Misdemeanor and Fine.

He'll probably be needing a job too.

It is just another tragic example of the culture we've all spent the last 40 years creating. 1979 can be pointed to as the year college sports began to spiral out of control and now it is so far gone its laughable. This is now the third generation and they really believe everything is a game and everything is hype and everybody cheats and all should be forgiven and they should never have to pay for the consequences of their actions. We should all be ashamed.

This and much, much more.

The assaults, heroin junkies, thievery.

I'm beginning to think Josh Pastner was NOT the problem at Memphis.

By the way, tmoney, check yo pms.

We even had a basketball playa back then who liked to brandish a pistol. Pointed it at a teammate and scared him back to Raytown, MO. Even drew down on the Miss. St. team bus in the player parking lot at MSC.

Don't mind me. That was just an experiment to see how it sounds when I say it.
