Win and not complete a class before the season even begins
So you would've won with the lack of talent and depth we had last season? Yeah no, there is a reason we kept getting blown out and it was not the current staff. It was the previous staff that you worshiped and still somehow support. Pretty much everyone else has seen the light except you.

You live in your own world truly. Some of the things you say have no correlation with anything else.
There really was not a glaring lack of talent last season, pretty consistent with what ECU has historically. It was how it was being utilized or lack thereof.
Not sure what East Carolina program you've been watching but at least on the DL we were SEVERELY under talented. We've actually historically had good to very good defensive lines at ECU. Our 1's have almost always stood toe-to-toe with any team we played whether it be ACC, SEC or whoever. Even since the Air Raid came to Gvl and our D went down the tubes we still had a few dominant players in Terry Williams and Michael Brooks. The current highest paid DT in the NFL is an ECU alum, CJ Wilson won a Super Bowl and was a contributor on their DL.
Last year our DL was absolutely embarrassing and probably the worst I've seen at ECU since I've been old enough to know. We were 128/128 in team sacks, flippin Texas State had more sacks than us. So yea, I'd say we lacked talent compared to what we normally have.
As far as OL, we've never really been outstanding, had some good lines but it's tough for any mid-major type team to be really good on the OL. That being said we were pretty horrible there last year compared to the 14' team and light years away from Skips OL's. Messiah Rice almost singlehandedly cost Nelson his Sr. year.
OL has been our biggest problem with turnovers being second. We have good size this year, hope we can perform. This is a projected list of starters I posted on the JMU board:
LT 67 – D'Ante Smith (So., 6-4, 336) 78 – Messiah Rice (Jr., 6-5, 294)
LG 64 – Des Barmore (Jr., 6-6, 333) 70 – Cortez Herrin (So., 6-3, 346)
C 55 – Garrett McGhin (Jr., 6-6, 327) 76 – Branden Pena (Jr., 6-2, 286)
RG 52 – Dqmarcus Shaw (Jr., 6-4, 316) 60 – Austin Lee (R-Fr., 6-1, 287)
RT 62 – Brandon Smith (Sr., 6-8, 327) 73 – Matt Morgan (Fr., 6-5, 276)
Starter Avg. 328, 6-6
It's really hard to get in a rhythm when your QB keeps getting killed.
