RE: The DC TV and Theatrical Universe...
My thoughts:
Legends of Tomorrow S3 / NF
For whatever reason(s) the oddity of this shows premise keeps me watching it for some reason. After binging on this last season I will say that Rory and Damien Dark really stand out as characters to me. The overall story arc of the time demon was pretty interesting. I thought the aspect of these totems and what they could do felt way to close to the Infinity Stone set up Marvel was using ( I have no idea chronologically who came up with these ideas first though). Wasn't a big fan of what happened with Firestorm. Zari kind of felt like a character put in for diversity's sake even if she held up pretty well. The whole Sarah Lance and Ava deal felt like a forced diversity thing involving her/their sexual orientation. I really liked Constantine's character and his interactions with all of the Legends. I think he's been one of the stronger players in these CW interconnected series so far. Speaking of which, I have only seen this shows episode but the crossover episodes they did seem pretty epic in scope. Snart's alternate earth persona was kind of weird. Overall, this season was my least favorite to watch even if I found the main villain, Damien Dark, and some other minor aspects to this season more interesting than the prior two seasons.
Black Lightning / NF
Let me say that I liked the series overall. I found the plot to set up Black Lightning was pretty good as well. Tobias Whale and La La have been two of the evilist villain's of the CW tv universe IMO. I especially enjoyed watching those two guys handle their business. Lady Eve kind of felt like a unneeded character IMO--granted her albino dust thing was pretty slick and bad ass. I liked the set up to Thunder... and whatever his younger daughter ends up being called. I thought the character of Gambi was interesting. I thought the deal with his wife was interesting. I thought the plot line for the ASA, Green Light, and other aspects was very interesting and kept me wanting to find out stuff. The only things that kind of bugged me was two instances in the show: 1) Thunder coming off as the toke lesbian character to be thrown in for diversity's sake and 2) the handling of the Confederate Statues thing... in terms it feeling like trying to be on the hot topic of the day in real time with the events and then to try and put into conversation the kid with the Confederate Flag on his shirt and not killing him as he wasn't being a situation at that time. IDK, the handling of those just felt kind of off and kind of outside the bounds of the core story. I wasn't upset with the topics being brought up/included in the show but somehow it just didn't fit well in execution. I think the history between Black Lightning's dad, Gambi, Black Lightning himself, Tobias, ASA, and all the involved people with the experimentation on the peoples of Freeland was done very well and in an interesting manner. Felt like some good political rationale that was above the standard crooked cop kinds of stuff.
Now for a small rant of sorts on something I felt was going on with the show. It felt like it was directly in response to Luke Cage. Experimented on deep thinking black man who has the heart to want to see "his" people succeed and do better for themselves. So many elements seemed inspired from each.... Lady Eve / Black Mariah, ASA and crew / Blackgate jailers and experimenters, Black Lightning / Luke Cage, the use of music and live performance music to choreograph fights or set moods for scenes (both done in each really well IMO), Tobias White & La La / Copperhead & Shades.

I hope they do this right. That said, I liked the first movie even with its issues. That said, Green Lantern is one of those characters to me that I just never overly got into but I get some weird vibe that Green Lantern (Corps) can be the DC equivalent to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
I did like the first movie also. I didn't mind Reynolds as Green Latern but he is perfect as Deadpool.

Finished Arrow S6.
I'd argue its the most violent and real of any of the seasons so far. Diaz is a pretty nasty dude. The in and out team dynamics get a little over done but seeing as I have no idea how the canon is for these matters I'd guess I am ok with it. I think my biggest issue is the Earth 2 Laurel/Black Siren and her deal in all the matters that involve her as a character this season.

For The Flash S5:

I liked this season much more than last season. I found the main villain way more interesting. I found the metas and the interactions within Team Flash way more interesting to digest over the course of the season.
The only real complaint I have had The Flash is more due to the nature of The Flash itself.... speedsters/speed force..... time travel speed ...multiverse implications.... it just feels way to convenient of a story mechanic that any speedster from the past/present/future/multiverse can interact with anyone from the past/present/future/multiverse and thus you get that whole time travel boondoggle that Doc was talking about in Back to the Future.

Finished up Gotham S4. What a ride.
--I really like what they did with the characters. And "the Joker"---now that was very interesting. Also, the whole Raz Ahl Ghul (sp?) storyline is very interesting. IMO though, without the success of Batman Begins and its usage of him, I doubt this character gets all the screen time he now gets in shows like Arrow and Gotham. Even with his first appearance to me in the Batman Animated Series wasn't as involved as it has gotten in these incarnations.

IDK.... maybe this will be good.
Personally, considering the limited Batman history I think I know, working Alfred into a former SAS guy kind of helps a lot with Bruce Wayne's transformation into being a competent Batman IMO. Almost as much as his League of Assassins/Shadows tenure.
