What he said was that you don't blame the loss on collusion, “When you lose to somebody who has a 40 percent popularity, you don’t blame other things—Comey, Russia—you blame yourself,” quoting from the above.

Trump spun it a little bit. But I'm pretty sure Schemer knows that there was no collusion, he just has to keep playing the game a while longer.

Oh gotcha, so Trump misrepresented something and his followers believe it without question. Shocking!

Schumer is right though, DJT is such a bumbling idiot that even if he did collude with Russia there is no excuse to lose to him. Gotta adjust for the midterms coming up and get a new message for 2020

Good luck in the mid terms with those steady hands on the rudder of the DNC

BTW, your avatar is guilty of cultural misappropriation.

No, Schumer crafted his response in such a way that puts blame where it should lie but is ambiguous regarding the overall issue.

Trump just cut thru his BS.

We have no allegiance to her yet you guys act like bashing Clinton upsets us. It's weird to say this but Trump won it's time for y'all to get over it. I know y'all have been conditioned to constantly be in campaign mode but it's getting really old. Could you imagine if Obama was still bashing Romney 6 months into his presidency? The longer you harp on Clinton the more petty and pathetic it makes you look.

Yea, zerO just blamed Bush for 8 yrs of his spectacularly failed presidency. Still seeps out now, here and there. Guess Romney got a pass, but let's not pretend...07-coffee3

This is why all the outrage we see from politicians is so fake. Let's assume that Schumer - and all other Dems in the house and senate - completely believe this. If they truly cared about our country, wouldn't they try their hardest to insulate Americans from this idiot's bumbling? Wouldn't it be much more prudent for them to try to work with Trump as much as absolutely possible in order to get the legislation that would do the least amount of harm if not benefit us?
