The entry for his last job was something like: handled large amounts of transactions daily, communicated company product options to customers, held responsibility over product inventory, etc. His last job: McDonald's cashier.

That's what the OP reminds me of. A resume made by someone whose goal/job is to make you look as good as possible. No lies, just the truth with caveats.

that's why we administered the "idiot test" for floor applicants in the '70s/'80s until we were bought out by YRK......

turnover rate went up dramatically after that......who'd a thunk it?

Oh we hired the guy. We had over 100 service calls to Food Lion (needed to be done Monday through Friday 7a-6p) from WV to SC and 10 guys in the field on my project from Maine to Georgia (could only be done Sunday through Thursday 8p-4a). We were desperate. This guy came in and was a boss from day 2.

on a much much smaller scale, I've had to deal with that recently......it can be a nightmare....

tomorrow is going to be the last "ask forgiveness" type of day......

it's not always easy running your own show with the players now available....

Yeah, it was definitely one of those "I didn't sign up for this" moments. It was due to our contractor suddenly deciding that they didn't want to hire anymore field techs for service jobs. So I went from a project with 20 people a night to that project plus service calls during the day. Didn't see my wife for a month and a half, basically. The Spin Room was the only thing keeping me sane.

now that's irony...I can sympathize with that sentiment 03-wink

The economy was recovering under Bush.

This without a doubt might be the dumbest thing ever uttered on this board. 03-lmfao

These were the monthly job losses at the end of 2008 and the start of 2009 when Obama started:

09/08 - 450,000
10/08 - 474,000
11/08 - 766,000
12/08 - 694,000

01/09 - 793,000
02/09 - 702,000
03/09 - 823,000
04/09 - 687,000

It wasn't until 2010 untill the economy actually started to recover.

The economy had already recovered. The job losses continued, because the job creators knew that a deomcratic house/senate/whitehouse would be bad for jobs. And they were right. Had Obama simply done the right thing, instead of trying to do cap and trade, Obamacare, bailouts, and continued the Bush tax cuts sooner, the layoffs would have stopped sooner.

Link?

But thanks for proving my point with your chart. The economy was tanking from 2008 and bottomed out in 2009. Then Obama took over and it skyrocketed back to decent shape in 2010 just like I said.

Next.

The economy was "skyrocketing", as you say, prior to Obama taking office, and immediately after when the doofus would have implemented nothing to cause the skyrocket. Like I said, the economy was recovering prior to Obama, then did nothing for 8 years.

And its the freaking GDP numbers. Anyone who needs a link for that also needs their diaper changed.

03-lmfao

You're so dense that you can't even read your own chart correctly! Do you not see that huge V shaped dip in it? That's from 2008 to 2009 and from 2009 to 2010. Now what happened in early 2009? Obama took office dude...remember? He was sworn in on January 20, 2009 which is represented by the bottom of the V dip. So yes, the economy was tanking from 2008-2009 when Bush left!

And while NO the economy did not skyrocket, it did in terms of comparison...you know...on that chart you provided? 03-lol 03-nutkick

And my request for a link was for ANY article that says that the economy was recovering before Bush left office as you so laughably asserted.

Apologies again to the board...I can't believe I let myself once again get involved with someone incapable of acknowledging reality. I need to do better. Of course it would be nice if ANYONE on the right would ever stand up for integrity instead of always bolstering their "side" no matter what. Sad.

RE: Great changes in 6 months
Trump may yet become great:

https://pjmedia.com/andrewklavan/2017/07...president/

"...In fact, it seems to me — a reluctant Trump voter — President The Donald has done a pretty darn good job so far. Rough-hewn, inexperienced and sometimes too much of a loudmouth for his own and the country's good, he has nonetheless managed to increase American freedom and productivity while dragging us back from the brink of the Moribund European Socialist Please-Kill-Us-Mohammed anti-Western vision of the last guy who held the office.

There's the great Supreme Court pick, of course. Plus he's eliminated sixteen old federal regulations for every new one put in place. He's made American foreign policy sane again by re-aligning us with Israel and pulling out of the nonsense Paris climate accord. You can talk about the non-wall all you like, but the drop in illegal border crossings under this president is, according to the head of the National Border Patrol union, "nothing short of miraculous." Stock market's up. Unemployment's down. Housing sales are up. ISIS is down. Oh, and Trump's brutal thrashing of our utterly corrupt and dishonest news media has been a joy to behold...."

Like all of us, I've watched Trump closely. He learns stuff. He gets smarter as he goes. At this late date, he's probably not going to fix his personality flaws. Hell, at this late date, I may not fix mine either. But who cares? CNN can cover his gaffes till their ratings match their credibility at zero. If Trump can learn to do this one thing — shepherd the Congress from Big Talk Promise to Real Life Law — he will stand a chance of becoming a genuinely excellent president.
When he started out, I did not believe that was possible. If he pulls it off, it will be the best crow I ever ate.

Thank goodness for Trump, because Republicans don’t seem equipped to pull off anything complicated.

The people who voted for Trump are happy, I'm happy, for one. If there's Reps who are sabotaging the health care law by not repealing it's open season for those people. A Demoncrat won't be any of them that are up for re-election but if there's a Rep that's willing to run against another Rep he'd have a pretty good chance of winning. We don't need Demons to take the place of a Rep, it would further dam the bill.

Dude, they're citing Sebastian vitez Gorka - you know, the world-renowned expert on Islam who can't speak or read Arabic and Knight of Vitezi Rend - as an authority.

Best change in 6 months is I have not seen Hillary, Podesta, Donna Brazil or Debbie Wasserman Schultz in front of a camera very often.
