RE: AAC preview articles
The Tampa paper appears to have the best AAC coverage of any AAC city.
It certainly puts Cincinnati to shame.
Thanks for posting.

RE: AAC preview articles
I like that they give Jimmy Williams his credit. 818 yards receiving last season was impressive.
However - I don't think he's going to be the marquee guy this season. I look for Trevon Brown (who was ineligible last year) to come back strong and be our big-time threat in the WR corps.

RE: AAC preview articles
Not very good research in terms of UCONN's QB ranking. He mentions 3 QBs, but omits our likely starting QB, David Pindell.

AAC preview articles
The Houston comical never has anything about the aac, and hardly anything about the Cougars either
Tampa paper is leading everybody else it seems

RE: AAC preview articles
I will say this... if the Thomas Sirk that started for Duke in 2015 is back to 100% healthy for the Pirates, he is going to end up in the top 3 on this QB list in the AAC by year end.
He's 6'4" 220lbs...mega dual-threat.
Threw for 2,625 yards with a 16/8 TD/INT ratio.
Rushed for 803 yards and 8 TD's.
He did this in a loaded ACC.
But there's no way of knowing if he'll be 100%... the folks at Duke didn't think it was possible.

Totally. Mobile quarterbacks don't need tendons. What is a tendon anyway? Sounds made up.
On a serious note, I can't believe WVU, VT, or BYU didn't crack the top 10 OOC games. Illinois-USF is even on the list.

RE: AAC preview articles
i love the trolling by the tampa newspaper. "could this be scott frosts last game at UCF?"
nobody expect UCF to make a NY6 bowl.......and that is the only realistic way that we could even contemplate asking that question this year.

Not trolling, but I would guess it's b/c they don't think the games will be that competitive.

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want the horde to come after me. BC/UCONN at Fenway probably didn't make the list because of how bad everyone projects us to be.

BC is awful, too.
But I bet you we win at least 1 of the WVU, VT, or BYU games. Maybe even 2.

BC was 7-6 last year. Not great, but not awful. And I think you lose all 3...possibly the James Madison game too.
