Pretty strong hire for the volunteer assistant IMO.

Kneeling for the anthem did not hurt the careers of Brandon Marshall, Devin McCourty, or Martellus Bennett.

Nor, apparently, Duane Brown of the Texans. Although I bet the Texans let the daily fine for missing training camp stand.

When what he brings to the table footballwise outweighs the trouble he brings publicitywise, he will get a job. Same as any other industry. So injuries will get him a job. Somewhere. Sooner or later.

personally, it think it would diminish my team to have a QB who not only thinks this country is oppressive, but flaunts it at every game. However, if it makes the difference between playoff or no playoff...

Same for the other names mentioned. when their utility falls below the cost of having them, out they go. Joe Blow without baggage > Joe Blow with baggage.

"Flaunts it"? Really? It's a pretty peaceful protest, no?

What does peacefulness have to do with it? Calling attention to oneself is flaunting, even without violence. In fact, most flaunting is nonviolent.
