Which goes to prove that there are MANY dolts out there. I know my neighbor payed their sons through college majoring in English. He can't pass the certification exam to be a teacher. He's living upstairs in their house now. He could get a job with daddy but I guess he doesn't want to work.

It is well documented that testosterone levels in US men have been plummeting. Here is a study:

I think this phenomenon of your neighbor's kid relates directly to testosterone. There is no drive whatsoever. How a young man can be perfectly content living upstairs in their parents' house is absolutely beyond the pale and frankly sad. Someone at that age should prefer anything... waiting tables at TGIFridays or selling shoes at Dillard's and living in a studio dump in a sketchy part of town all whilst mingling with fertile women... to living with the parents indefinitely. A month of working for $10/hour should suffice for a security deposit. My advice to my son... if you have to get dirty, adapt and get dirty, but never take a knee.

I sort of blame the parents just as much as the snowflake.
