Yup.

Get it right, don't do "something" just for the sake of doing it fast.

Get it right, instead.

I completely disagree....

you can't get this 'right'....that's like trying to explain silly puddy is a solid to a 4 yr old...

you can only fine tune this one/then continue to fine tune or repeal with something that will become political suicide....

you guys are smart enough to see through this bs...,.

zero ****** the blues without having to floss......

He kind of reminds me of Megyn Kelly. He had his moment of notoriety and has let it go to his head.

So I think with the lack of action on healthcare and the almost universal dislike for the Senate bill these congressmen are walking into the lions den at their upcoming town halls. Awfully close to that pandering time of term for a lot of these guys, this will definitely be interesting.

I agree with that. Here is a wild thought, but wouldn't it be nice if the two tribes could come back after the break and make the needed fixes to the ACA for it to stabilize?

Nice?...Yes...and also impossible. There is no fix to this horrible piece of legislation other than putting it in file 13 and starting over with a good plan. A bipartisan effort with some independent outside input this time would be productive.

Except the replace is just as ****.

McConnell is a very crafty politician. The fact he pulled the plug this quickly speaks volumes to its content.

There aren't more than 2 or 3 Democrats who would participate in a "bipartisan effort." Total waste of time.

They should be dreading it. They ran on and were elected to repeal. Haven't even attempted to do that. Just been trying to steal the name from Obama and put big stinking golden letters on it for Chump.

Lets be honest here. Virtually every Republican would rather do nothing and just let Obamacare implode and blame it on the Democrats. Just let the individual market disappear as insurers refuse to participate in it. They can campaign against and rail against it as their name isn't attached.

As soon as they sign up for something - they will have to defend it and they are averse to that. Even if the legislation works on the whole, there will always be "some" that don't get the best outcomes. The libcuck media will cover these individual stories like moths attracted to a flame and will treat any individual tough situation as an indictment of the whole so that Democrats can skewer any Republican opponents.

What we have now is a Republican majority not willing to stand up and be counted and do their jobs. They don't want anything attached to their name - just float through to their next election.......

It's called giving the appearance of working without actually, you know - working...

GOP owns healthcare issue regardless of what they do. They are in complete control of all branches and if it implodes because they continued to sabotage or twiddle their thumbs it is on them, not because it is or isn't in reality their fault, but because that will be the perception.

No they don't...at all. But it's adorable, and sadly predictable, that you regressives think they own this steaming pile of monkey crap.
