RE: Nevada AD proposes AAC vs MWC challenge
I am seriously considering printing a "G4" sticker and mailing it to the Nevada AD.

our top-9 vs their top-9 (based on last seasons final standings)
WSU vs Dayton
SMU vs VCU
Cincy vs Rhode Island
Houston vs Richmond
UCF vs St Bonaventure
Memphis vs George Washington
UConn vs La Salle
Tulsa vs George Mason
Temple vs Davison
games appear on ESPNU with the games in bold appearing on ESPN2
I don't know very much about the other teams, but Dayton lost 4 starters (all their best players are gone) from last years team to graduation along with their head coach who may have thought that since they lost all of their best players, now is a good time to jump ship. I don't look for them to be as good as last year (maybe significantly lower).

I need to buy glossy sticker paper first. Also, I need to make sure that I print enough of them so that there is one for every player on their football team. No helmet should feel left out.

RE: Nevada AD proposes AAC vs MWC challenge
A challenge with any G4 conference is a horrible idea for the AAC. Scheduling is difficult enough for AAC schools wanting to play 2 or more P5 schools. We don't need to complicate it more with a required MWC game.

It's the off season so we can go big. Send one to every MWC player and all their coaches and staff.
Labels for the basketball uniforms too

major pass we are way ahead of them in hoops. They'd be better off trying to get a challenge with CUSA, much more comparable hoops league.

We talked to that conference. They screwed up. I'm happier here anyway. Nobody wants to go on the road and compete a mile above sea level, but we were willing to in order to escape the dying MVC.

"The Mountain West's slogan is "Above the rest," and over half of the member institutions, plus women's soccer-only member Colorado College, are at more than 4,000 feet (1,200 metres) above sea level. This impacts endurance in sports like football, soccer, and the distance races in track & field and swimming meets, and aerodynamics in baseball, softball, tennis, golf, and the discus and javelin throws. The Mountain West's institutions have the highest average elevations in NCAA Division I sports."

We will send our teams if they are willing to wear g4 stickers in football, basketball, and baseball. Even the cheerleaders need to wear the decal.

RE: Nevada AD proposes AAC vs MWC challenge
The OOC travel costs make no sense for the Eastern AAC Teams to play MWC teams especially with the high travel costs for North East teams traveling to Florida and Texas in conference and vise versa for the Southern and South West teams flying to the Northeast for games even in BB and FB. Those OOC costs should be kept be kept at a minimum playing regionally against P5 schools if possible. The Texas Schools and Tulsa schools may want to schedule the Southern MWC schools like New Mexico, Air force, and CSU OOC though as the travel expenses would not be as exorbitant though.

RE: Nevada AD proposes AAC vs MWC challenge
We just need to schedule better. There's only a few games vs the MW that would be helpful too the AAC RPI. Scheduling a full on challenge with the MW would probably be more a hindrance to RPI than a help.
