What is really funny is Jim Delany makes more from the big 10 than Rutgers per year. Rutgers payout

2018 11.6 million
2019 14.9
2020 19.3
2021 full share

Delany got a 20 million bonus

In the P12 it is a 1/13th equity share, and in the B1G it is a 1/30th share (50% of a 1/15th share .. FOX has the other 50%, or rather 49%). The conference maintains a share. The ACCN with ESPN will follow the same philosophy as the B1G, except teh schools are each responsible for funding studios (some similarities to the costs ESPN passed on to MAC schools)

The SECN has no buy in period, as the SECN is not owned by the SEC, rather ESPN (Disney) has 80% and the Hearst Corporation (another media company) has 20%.

Maryland was in worse financial straights, and to avoid a negative cash flow problem the negotiated a loan on future earnings during the buy-in period. Nebraska I believe is now a full equity member, so they will receive a full share this year. Rutgers and Maryland have two more years to go. When they get a full share, Maryland will get less than other schools while the loan is paid off. These B1G schools will share in the big jump in distributions this year. A 50% share of a 50% larger distribution will mean they each should get at least $5-6M more this coming year than last year (I have not calculated the exact amount, but this should be reasonable ballpark)

Nebraska is a full member in 2017-18 so next year
