Keith posted in another forum that Jamammy is still in the dark.

While others have the lights on but nobody home.

Not my pics

But I did see some of this on S. Willett in Central Gardens & where Central Ave. runs across Lamar to Agnes Pl. & Sledge, etc.

Also that night I was out driving & saw a lot on Walnut Grove between Highland & Holmes as well as Peabody Ave. & on Front St. with Oak trees down across half of Front St. in what was perviously called Confederate Park.

Some of these pics look like N. McClean & N. McNeil St. etc.

Preventative maintenance might ease how many people go without power in a storm.

The crews MLG&W hires are known for butchering trees and cutting back too much, effectively creating "sails" on trees that catch the wind and topple. Most of the trees that fell were in fairly saturated ground with full new spring leafing that caught these 90 mph winds. I was riding in a car when the winds hit. It was horrific and terrifying.

We have 250 huge trees down here. This, IMHO, was not a case of any kind of corruption, although I do agree we have a plethora of that with our elected officials.

and that was my point. I dunno if anything shady is going on or not..but it wouldn't surprise me.
Its ok to not agree with someone....but to call someone 'stupid' because you don't agree with them is a bit much.
I'm not calling YOU out, but the others that felt free to pile on.
Its pretty much why the good posters either don't post here anymore, or post nearly as much.
Bash away folks. I have thick skin, and I will just sit back and grin at your 'cleverness'.

Turn your PMs on and let's chat. My 6 yr old is so clever sweating while she sleeps with no power. Turn em on, leggooo." WHAAAA the "good posters" are gone. TURN THEM ON!

Come on, guys.

Have a cool drink.

Take a breath.

No sense in all this hate.

Try to love somebody today.

Each time they alternate between there is an outage in your area to the outage is fixed. Last night they said it would be back on in a couple hours. This morning they have no estimated time to fix the outage. At least we have air conditioning and lights. Been killing the data on my phone though.

Central Gardens got power last night also. I lost my two storm refugees.
