How much PTSD do you get when every "Liverpool's largest transfers" lost comes up and you have to go through the 5 stages of grief about Andy Carroll again?

Chicago Fire at FC Cincinnati will be on ESPN 2 on Wednesday night, called by Healey and Twellman. Definitely a good platform for us, and the first non-semi final national broadcast for the USOC

Everton needs to keep their greedy paws away from Gylfi Siggurdson. He's not for sale.
Also, Gold Cup Roster is out today. It's basically the US B Side, with only Matt Besler, Omar Gonzalez, and Brad Guzan left as holdovers from the World Cup Qualifiers roster.
We're sort of seeing the ultimate fate of the Gold Cup honestly with it almost certain that Mexico will field a B side as well after Confed Cup duties. There's just not enough incentive for the US and Mexico to put their top sides out there for the event. With the new Concacaf Nations League forming, and Copa America moving to 16 teams and possibly hosting more tournaments in the US, I think we're hitting a point where the Gold Cup is going to become a once every 4 years event, maybe gone period with FIFA considering scrapping the Confederations cup.

If he's not for sale then why did they place a 40m price tag on him? we'll get him for around 33.5m

Half the roster was on the WCQ roster two weeks ago. It's an A- team.

That'll be interesting to watch...with the personnel they have I don't think he'll be able to play the way Ajax did.

Still call it a B team. However, isn't this common the summer before a World Cup?

Sorry, I haven't had time to go through this entire thread so I'm not sure if you're discussing AAC soccer, but SMU had a very down season last year. I'll be very interested to see how we bounce back this season. A lot of pressure on our coach, Kevin Hudson.

Are you a fan of a Premier League side? I, myself, am a Bayern Munich fan. So, obviously, that means I follow the Bundesliga closely.

Very casual fan of the EPL & Bundesliga. I'll watch because they are so skilled but I don't have a team. I know it is nowhere near the level of the Euro leagues but I've started following MLS a little more. FC Dallas has a solid team most years. As for SMU, I go to a couple of games each season. I know UConn is usually very strong too.

We tend to stay away from college soccer on this thread. No reason why, I guess. Just never really talked about it.

Swansea's owners came out again today and said we have no intention of selling Siggurdson regardless the price.
Story is that he's not that interested in Everton because he's not sure he'd play as much as he is in Swansea.

Just not the same quality. It's hard enough for me to watch MLS having seen the Premier League every weekend. College Soccer would be almost impossible.

Yeah, I completely agree and I actually played in college haha. I've found that most of my teammates can't stand college soccer since graduation either, and we all watch international level. We just recognize that it's pretty awful soccer to watch outside of the NC Tourney, and we openly admit that the students who came to watch us at UC had to have been drunk to stay and watch whole games even back when we won a Big East title

They may not be interested but they know they have to and will take the sweet sweet money that will come with it.

Fans will riot if they sell gylfi. I expect we'll hold onto him.
They almost lost the fan base entirely selling Ashley Williams last year, and he had requested a transfer
