USM finally breaks the scoreless game with a 2 out RBI single to take a 1-0 lead after 4 complete.

Edit: FAU gets its first hit of the day in the 5th but no runs. USM starting pitchers this weekend have been phenomenal:
Friday: 7 IP, 2 hits, 0 runs
Saturday: 6 IP, 2 hits 0 runs
Sunday: 6 IP, 1 hit, 0 runs (still in the game)

USM leads game 3 1-0 going to bottom 6

Down 8-3 going into T8, Rice scores 7 in T8 to take a 10-8 lead.

1 out, nobody on in B8 now.

Freshman Matt Wallner with his 15th HR of the season in bottom 8 to put USM up 2-0. Braley has thrown all 8 innings which puts USM starting pitchers having thrown 21 shutout innings while allowing 6 hits

Braley back out to start the 9th...he's only thrown 83 pitches

FAU gets a 1 out solo HR to end the shutout.
Now 2 out
And another solo HR ties it. Braley had only allowed 2 HRs all year as well as just 2 hits today. FAU matches that in the 9th. Headed to bottom 9 tied at 2

We went into the weekend 1-10 on the season in 1-run games, and then pick up two 1-run wins en route to a sweep of MTSU. 10-9 nail-biter today.

Rice sweeps Charlotte in a late inning comeback. 9-1 now in the last 10.

That said, our pitching is pretty depleted for UH on Tuesday... We won the first two games of the series though, so anything else is gravy.

USM is really good esp at Home. I am not sure how we managed to get out of Burg with a series win. After the series sweep today Rice might have turned the corner and would be a threat to anyone.

it's scary how many 2 out runs we have had this year.....

kudos to FAU.....those guys came to play and are talented.....they simply ran into a crazy ass buzzsaw of the 2 wildest back-to-back comebacks I've ever witnessed.....

that's just pure shite luck on their side....
