I too thought years ago Tigers were a shoe in for Big 12, thus my alias.

Not so sure ESPN is as financially set as you think—recent actions suggest that. Disney Executives not happy about cranking out one block buster after another to only see their yearly profits level not move due to ESPN – more changes on the way. Also, I have a feeling from small tidbits that Amazon might create Amazon Sports media, streaming live sports and news. This might cut into the ESPN Empire. The power 5 might not see a huge increase in TV contracts coming up and might very well see a decrease though I think that is highly unlikely . It will sure be interesting to see how college sports play out in the future.
