I'd be happy for something like this. Would prefer we did it with Big East but would help bolster non-conference schedules for both conferences.

RE: AAC vs A10 challenge... A10's take
A few AAC top guns aren't clicking on all cylinders unfortunately.

The AAC howevet was already a strong basketball league before it's new strong basketball program addition... But all of sudden the A10 fan base think a challenge vs the AAC is a great idea.

Why didn't they want a challenge before?!? And amusing at how they think their members match evenly with AAC programs. LOL

No thanks to their challenge pitch idea... Well, at least that's how I feel about it.

I'd still take it. It makes less sense for the AAC West teams because St Louis is the only A-10 team that would work really well. OTOH, the AAC East would benifit from this. ECU vs VCU? ECU vs Richmond? Temple, Uconn and Cincy would like it for UMASS, RI and Dayton I'm assuming...let's do it!

Wait till Memphis and UConn improve.
Would look bad if the AAC lost to these teams.

Fair East side view, billy 04-cheers

I don't think a challenge with them helps the AAC much anymore... Our IC games with a couple of OOC games should be sufficiently strong to improving everyone's RPI here now, IMHO.

No need in helping their RPI

Yeah....I wish they would have done this with us before now. It would've helped I think.

I'm indifferent to the A10. I saw enough of their teams when Temple would play them.

Not interested in playing a challenge against A10. That will get the AAC no where. In fact I do not want to see UC play Dayton, Wright St or Miami of Ohio. Then those schools will want a home and home. NO Way

if you guys feel this way then don't go complaining around when a P5 school doesn't want to schedule a home and home with you ( football or basketball), same type of snobbish attitude. If we are so much better than the A10 then we should not have any issues beating them

Boom.

I have no strong opinion either way on a 'challenge' with the A10.

I don't lose any sleep over any P5, or any A10.

This challenge just doesn't seem like a good direction to go.

RE: AAC vs A10 challenge... A10's take
I don't know that it would be great. I mean, it SEEMS most of the AAC is scheduling pretty decent in the non-conference. Especially those in the top half. Throw in the exempt tourneys and I don't know that the A-10 games would help a ton. I say don't do a challenge just to do a challenge. And if you do go forward with one, I hope to GOD it is handled better than the MVC vs MWC challenge. Some horrible matchups there.
