Maybe he joined the team just to get tickets. The current wait can take months

Walter Foster, who left Towson early last season, has transferred to Fort Valley State (DII).

RE: 2017 CAA Basketball Transfers
FWIW Hunter Seacat has started to play at Appalachian State, with the semester over. Played in 3 games so far, put up 4 points int their most recent game against Texas St, his only scoring on the year so far. Does already have 10 rebounds. They appear to use their bench pretty aggressively, with 11 or 12 players getting time in most games. Looks like he'll probably get about 8-12 minutes in most games, though maybe that will change as the season progresses.

Yes, like you (probably), I hate to keep bringing Whitman's name up, but the guy has apparently fallen off the face of the earth. Talk about making a bad decision ... it still puzzles me. And since he red-shirted a year at W&M, he's done. Sad thing is that he had really evolved into an offensive force in the post last season.

RE: 2017 CAA Basketball Transfers
Unless his time counted at Kansas against his eligibility, Whitman still should have one year left. I'm guessing it did for him to have little to no sniffs by a team.

Unless you get a medical waiver, athletes have 5 years to use their 4 seasons of eligibility. The clock started with his red-shirt season at W&M and the clock strikes midnight for him at the end of this season.

RE: 2017 CAA Basketball Transfers
Either Whitman or Seacat would really raise the ceiling for this team, as has been mentioned. I'd love to see Nathan playing less, but better rested. I don't think that would effect his stats that much.

Jack and Hunter are gone for good. They no longer wanted to be here. Gone.

Towson freshman guard Travis Ingram will be transferring.
I guess this is no longer 2017 transfer news but 2018 - y'all want a new thread?

Isn't it time to fret constantly about signing a 2018 big man?

No. That happens after the season as we approach the April 11th signing day. If left unfilled, then we stress about available transfers.
