There's no point. Eventually some of the Big 12 will join them in the SEC.
Yep, some more neighbors sounds nice. Come on over Texas, OU, OSU, Tech, KU, WVU.
I don't know if we would go to 20, it's not impossible, but I do think that 18 with Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State is completely viable. I have no problem with 20. But the question would be whether it was Kansas, and Iowa State, or Kansas and West Virginia. As a university Iowa State has a lot to offer. Plus it doesn't screw up the divisions.
Arkansas, L.S.U., Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech
Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State
Alabama, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina
Geographically that makes more sense. It gives us 10 million more viewers, completes our hold on Texas, and lands us 3 AAU schools. Should W.V.U. find its way into the ACC, and should T.C.U. find its way into the PAC that's enough to dissolve the conference. Now should Texas Tech and T.C.U. as a pair and a way for the PAC to get into Texas then the SEC could add both W.V.U. and Iowa State and now we have over 12 million more viewers. But the geography changes.
