While there, make sure to find a DC drafts stand and drink some Port City. Port City is owned by JMU alum Bill Butcher. Last year they served optimal wit above section 110 in the left field corner. They do rotate them around so you can tweet port city while there for locations.

I have a new lucky hat that I somehow don't own yet.

Bummer 25th anniversary. Don't think my wife would go for that.

My wife's birthday. Guess I am out too.

I saw these in their stadium store last year when I was there for a game. So even if you can't make it to JMU night, if you go there for a game you can get one of the hat's in the stadium.

If I am back from the Philippines, my wedding anniversary is only the day after :) might be able to make it :)

Yeah, I was a little shocked there was no Mason or Howard day.

glad the dukes are getting their props, could have very easily been left out with odu, mason and vcu. hope we show up and help ticket sales, to at least finish middle of the pack.

I only wish we had our new 3-letter logo instead of what looks to be "DUKES"... personal preference, but, residing outside the dmv I prefer clothing with JMU vs Dukes...

When I worked for the Richmond Braves, we had a "penny war" where it was college night and we had milk jugs set out for a few state schools and whatever school had the most pennies at the end of the 5th inning, got the total value of all pennies go toward their athletic scholarship program. Tech Won...just over $2000 I think.

With all of that said, the Nationals should have a competition between all six schools. Whoever has the most tickets sold, should get a small percentage back to their school, maybe the school's baseball program? Or even maybe which baseball team gets to scrimmage the nats next spring training? I don't know...but add a small value for the fans to get behind and help drive ticket sales.

Dang it, I want a better picture of the hat! I can't even see the JMU logo in that shot!
