You just can't escape their fans around here. It was bad always but with the success that Cal has had on the recruiting trail you hear their gas all year long now. I kind of hold my breath every NCAA tourney every year until someone does me the favor of putting them out.

Make no mistake, UNC fans are obnoxious as hell. Just like Tennessee football fans or Florida Gator football fans. I've been surrounded by all of those at one time in my life. But right now I live amongst the UK fans. So I don't care if that ref had a mortgage payment on that game and screwed Kentucky like an escort at an Accounting convention in Vegas. I'm just glad they lost.

I hear ya on the UNC hating part. I was at Ft Bragg from Jan '96 - June '98 & I myself grew to hate UNC fans. In fact I became somewhat of a Duke fan just to enjoy cheering against them a little more. Plus it made going to all those tourney games in Greensboro & Charlotte that much more fun.

Well at least you guys don't live in Lexington and work with all UK fans like me.....Anytime UK loses its always the officials fault, UNC could have won by 14 but it would have still been the officials fault.....I also have to deal with my own relatives/cousins who are UK Fans, its very tiring haha....I just feel relieved every year when they go out....Never fails thought they will start preseason ranked number 1 and the cycle starts again, although next season they well have zero seniors who contribute unless they get a grad transfer...These fans are just unreal and thank their are god's gift to basketball when in reality 2 Titles since 1998 a span of almost 20 years is not that great...

I don't know how you do it. There are plenty of UK fans in Cincinnati, probably the 3rd biggest fan base after UC and X, and the ones I interact with are just so annoying. I can't imagine being surrounded by them 24/7.

Well a lot I talk to regularly are not as annoying as I am sure most UK hardcore fans are....I am not good friends with any hardcore UK fan so I don't have to put up with it a lot....It kills me worse going to BG and seeing all the UK crap everywhere and students at WKU who rather cheer for UK then attend their own university games.....The guy I talk to on a daily basis is an older guy that knows our history at WKU and also respects it....Thankfully I am not around a lot of younger UK fans.....What kills me though with some of the women UK fans is all they know is UK and I am sure a lot of guys are like that as well, no one else exists in the college basketball world....

Heard the UK fans found the Refs business page on facebook and posted a bunch of bad reviews...even some saying he was a sexual predator. Horrible to mess with someone's business like that over a basketball game.

That's what I said in this thread a while ago. Many of you have no idea how bad those fans are. The few who actually went there are reasonable.

But I would say about 40,000 to 50,000 on a given WVU football Saturday are not. These are special people.

There is no way to have a thread like this and not mention Alabama fans. Not so much in basketball, 3/4 of them don't give a damn... but the bammer football fans are as obnoxious and arrogant a bunch of inbred pinheads as any fan base in the nation, bar none.

As to KU fans, I don't see too many, and if they start to talk s*** I bring up UAB's .600 winning percentage against them. That tends to end it pretty quick.
