That would be a a start and too good to be true. Unfortunately Graham is delusional and still believes he is one of the top coaches both in college and the Pros. Heard he has said that to players. Graham is too set in his ways. Why does he keep rolling Amador out there instead of giving Schragger a shot. Not that Scragger is a world beater but deserves another look. Why not give Dunlop a shot too? It is so frustrating watching a man who would rather lose and be right that be wrong on certain players and win.

Glad to see Tyler (potentially) get another crack at the rotation. He was darn good during the second half of 2015, so hopefully he can recapture that success.

On a side note, isn't it Dunlap...?

I am not surprised. These guys coaching forever will never retire until forced out like professional athletes. This is also On Dr K. Pretty poor job on his part.

It is time to step down. It would not tarnish his legacy by any means. For the sake of the baseball program though we need a resurgence in recruiting and coaching. Heck I could say for the sake of all Rice athletics at this point. Football is not headed anywhere. Basketball just took a major hit, and I am sure more hits will follow when players transfer because of it. Rice needs baseball to be at the top. Otherwise our athletic program as a whole is in jeopardy.

If he is worried about his legacy then that is a selfish act. We also have to accept that he may not be operating within a sense of reality. Unfortunately we have probably all seen it with older family members. Their sense of reality, memory and other cognitive abilities all erode. Not a pretty picture but for Graham to believe he could coach in the MLB right now is clearly delusional. That is right from players.

Correct. Banning someone because you don't like what they were saying is exactly censorship. I am not saying I agree with what was said. It may not have been the most polite thing in the world but expecting civility by definition means you expect everyone on here to say nice things.

Gosh, if people wanted to talk to real people and get real information, rather than make assumptions and fulminate under pseudonyms, they wouldn't need this message board!

I expect the things said to not be overtly personal or discriminating such as the ugly comments about age, even if I agree with some of the points made in such posts.

Thanks, Tomball. My sentiments exactly. I don't mind the criticism at all and actually agree with some of the general points made.
However, I think it's way over the line to opine that Coach is essentially not in his right mind and is inflicting that on the players.

I hadn't been to the smack forum in a while. Now I'm getting a better picture at why he was banned, and also a good reminder of why I don't venture into the smack forum.
