Trump on the other hand...at this rate...may not last the rest of this year. 03-rotfl

It is nice now to have someone who is doing what they said they would after the last eight years of complete and utter incompetence.

Trump will be there after the leftist loons have been carted off to the nervous hospital.

Funny...I thought Trump was going to be doing all this winning. All I see is failing.

Been pretty clear for a while that you couldn't see. Thanks for verifying.

And half of it are lies dude. Most all of this jobs nonsense was decided and/or announced before he even took office.

And that pipeline will create like less than 100 perm jobs IIRC.
Gorsuch ain't approved yet either.

Couple that with his failures on the Muslim Ban, ACA repeal, Under FBI investigation, Flynn firing, Manafort non-vetting, millions squandered on Florida trips, etc.

One failure after another.

Who knew being president could be this hard.

What a dumb move by the Dems. Gorsuch is going to be on there on way or the other. You really want to fillibuster this guy and waste that card now?? If you force nuclear option for Gorsuch, next Judge will only require 51 going into it. What kind of a judge do you think you will get then?

The 60 vote thing is just a procedural rule another congress enacted.

It was deemed in both parties' best interest until Senate Majority Leader Harry Ried (D) saw fit to remove it to be able to ram through all of Obama's nominees for lower federal courts.

Cry me a river.

RE: Nuclear, nuclear, nuclear...
I am a conservative Republican and I want more than anything to see a 6-3 conservative majority on the SC for the next 30 years. Yes the nuclear option would likely provide that margin.

BUT

The nuclear option is NOT a given. You would need at least 50 Republican Senators to vote to change the filibuster (with Pence casting the tie breaker).

Guys, that is not a given.

I think there is a better than even chance that two or more Republican Senators would not vote in favor of the nuclear option.

Possible no votes: McConnell, McCain, Hatch, Grassley.

McConnel has already said he would do it...he would be the one to bring the rule change to a vote.

A Supreme Court nominee has never been filibustered in the history of the country. So go ahead Schumer. Do the Republicans a favor. They will immediately put the nuclear option in place and Gorsuch is in as will be any further Trump nominees. I swear Schumer is doing Trump more good than I can believe. By buying into this complete opposition to Trump, he is just making the Republicans stronger. If he had come out and tried to work with the deal maker, Trump would have jumped all over it. Trump gave Schumer more money than any other politician. Now all Trump has to do is ignore him and work with the Republicans.

The only thing that I hate, if McConnell is forced to go nuclear, is that the Dems will control the Senate again. Guaranteed. This needs to be avoided at all costs.

Yes he could allow a vote and still vote no. Nonetheless, I think McCain and Hatch are the two most likely to vote no.

McConnel is not going to vote no on that...McCain might because he is senile.

Too bad so sad. Get used to Gorsuch. He'll be living in DC for about 3 decades.
