Gotta be play in with an RPI in the 200s and losing record. But, I would not worry about this bunch shooting well enough or making free throws required to win a tournament. They do play hard under the interim coach and play good defense, but pressure will not be kind to them. I love the group, but they just can't get offensive basketball for some reason after too many years of bad coaching.

Maybe for Tulane. ECU would be no worse than a 14 seed if they snuck in. They get credit for being in one of the better conferences.

If you don't count Perry's first game at UConn, he's now 6-6 against American competition. Lebo was 1-5. Quite an improvement.

They say Lebo is still at practice but he doesn't come to games and I doubt he made the trip to Connecticut. Team plays exponentially harder with Perry coaching. Probably because he gives a s#$% about the school and players. Lebo is an elitist Carolina grad who just took this job because he couldn't get another one and he had a chance to be close to his wifes family and the beach. He couldn't care less about ECU and it shows in his results.

ECU fans on boneyardbanter.com are hailing lebo and are saying how impressed they are by yesterdays win. ECU fans over there truly believe we can make a run towards the tournament.

We will lose by 12 today and the excitement and love towards this staff will be at its highest since we won the CIT in 2013

ECU loses Washington but keeps Lebo? If Pirate fans believe that means they are building on this season then they aren't paying attention at byb.

You're overestimating Washington's impact. He certainly helped our defense, but he killed our offense. ECU can not score in a half court set, but they are very dangerous at a high tempo. Can't do that with Washington on the court
