Playing high-octane offense all season appears to have caught up to the Huskies. NIU lacked energy and legs in losing four of last five for regular season. Unfortunately same is happening in this first half.

Frustrating. You should be able to hit open 3's at this level with NOBODY putting a hand in your face. Zone defense so ugly. But they can't play man to man either so pick your poison.

Can't get out and run if you can't get stops. Better be some major adjustments at half.

Team looks unprepared and sluggish. Which is pathetic.

I agree. Coming down the stretch they seemed like they hit the wall.

Agree! Whomever voted against her in the POY vote can suck it.

Best comeback by an NIU basketball team since 1982 when the men came from about the same deficit to beat Ohio in the MAC tourney. That men's team went on to the Big Dance. Hopefully the momentum from today can carry the women to the same destination.

Incredible! First the news about Lynch, now this!

I was at the 1982 MAC tourney win over Ohio at Chick Evans Field House. When Keith Gray (the first Keith Gray) threw down an alley-oop dunk to tie it up late in the game, it was so loud that a friend of mine studying in West Neptune could hear the noise. A few days later we won that MAC tourney in Ann Arbor, clinching a berth to our first NCAA tourney. A magical time.
