There were a lot of questionable calls which even the WKU announcers were saying...btw the announcers were quite good. Just hate that we had the game tied and momentum moving our way but can't put the ball in the hole and then can't get a stop. No FG's last 2:24 for the Owls.

Hopefully this is our last loss for awhile. Two straight sub-par games by Evans though - we'll need him to regain the scoring touch for the tournament next week.

Rice - 26 fouls. WKU - 15 fouls. Hard to win when you shoot 13 fewer FTs. Also, it appears the staff just decided to rest Evans. He only played 20 minutes, and didn't see the court for the last 10 minutes or so of game time.

Evans hurt his left elbow in the 1st half. He wanted to play more in the 2nd half, but Coach Rhoades didn't want to take a chance on further injury. JP thinks he should be OK to go on Wednesday.

BTW it's tough to put together a great effort every single night. ODU lost at UTSA today, and even a bigger upset, UAB lost at home to FIU!
