The Republican Party shouldn’t act in the same way," Paul said in a circus-like atmosphere outside the offices of House leaders. “This is being presented as if it were a national secret, as it if it were a plot to invade another country. … That's wrong. It should be done openly in the public. And conservatives who have objections that don't want Obamacare-lite should be able to see the bill."

I thought that this kind of stuff started with republicans opposing Obama.

And why would Paul want the bill to be public at this point except to sabotage it? As long as they don't try to do what the Democrats did and introduce and pass without anyone knowing what is in it. This bill is still in negotiation within the caucus.

It needs honest and open debate, not sabotage.

The problem is usually the bills and plans Republicans come up with screws the middle class and poor, and the Democrat plans screws the rich people. There should be a bill that should be put together to work for all. Combine Obamacare and the Republican plans together as one to fix our healthcare. Our healthcare system was already broken long before Obamacare came along.

Well, to be sure. Our countrys healthcare is not guaranteed by the Constitution. You can't/won't find it anywhere.

But, now that the cat's out of the bag because of Oblunder both parties have had to adopt it for their political lives. As far as what you said I believe there are already pre-existing conditions, dependent coverage, and I can't remember what else from the original. When we can buy healthcare nationwide then it'll start to bring the prices down. Smart people don't want the government any place near it. You forget we have people like Pelosi, Schumer, and Pocahontas in government and you know how screwed up they are and only in office because they come from Liberal states otherwise they'd be working at Winn's Five and Ten.

Or just repeal it and make people more responsible for themselves rather than feeling the need to suck off of the nanny states teet to survive.

I have heard no one on the Hill ever say the word Bismarck. What we are going to get is not going to work much better than the ACA.

Im beginning to think just dump the ACA, expand Medicaid nationally and leave the rest of us the hell alone.
