Oh its probably because Cincy lost to UCF the other nite and now SMU has the tiebreaker based on UCF too
That was if both teams only had 1 loss. Now UC's loss to UCF gives SMU a better record against the higher seeded team.

I never thought Houston had a shot at an large bid, but last night should put a nail in the coffin. Coogs gotta win the AAC tournament to go to the Big Dance. Anyone not named Cincinnati or SMU has to win the AAC Tournament to go to the NCAA's. A week or 2 ago there was talk about UCF being a bubble team. They are a bubble team, for the NIT.
