This game was a road practice side note. Most importantly, no one got worn out or hurt. Hopefully, Desonta will be 100% and the Bucs bring everything they've got on Monday.

Yeah, hopefully. But this bug that's been going around has been majorly nasty. It's also possible things could go the other way - that Desonta infects several others. I'm sure there was one UNCG player who got it first.

Forbes on the postgame mentioned that AJ was a bit sick also.

We had a lot of fans there. They had more this year than I saw there last year but still a weak turnout. I still like the arena; if it had an up to date scoreboard it'd probably be the nicest in the SoCon. It has an excellent sound system; we could clearly hear all the mispronunciations of our players names LOL. They have a very good pep band; part of the marching band which is also very good. The half time "show" was exciting and entertaining. However, the half time activities went too long (because of a young dance team from Asheville) and they had to rush the recognition of senior dance team/cheerleaders and the like.

Ugly scene following the game: 2 WCU students (who were flipping off the ETSU section the entire game) got in the face of a woman who was with her husband and 2 young girls. The husband rightfully took exception to this and a tussle ensued. Some punches were thrown before but security quickly intervened. The cops handled it well and questioned these students as well as bystanders. Awful.

Yeah they showed up after halftime and sat very close behind us (ETSU group). They mouthed off at our players, coaches and mockingly made fun of us (when we "whoop" after someone scores). Not sure what they were up to but they were quite obnoxious IMO.

It probably wouldn't have been so objectionable but they were "in our space" so to speak.

Pretty bad. I'm guessing they are just butt hurt because we've won 21 out of the last 22 against them.

I thought they were pretty funny the whole second half. I don't know what was said if anyone could help clarify, that would be helpful. I am going to guess that we had a hot head buc fan throw the first punch because he could not handle the bantz until someone proves me wrong.

They reminded me a lot of Shampoo. Shampoo says a lot of humorous things at games and it makes me laugh. Shampoo keep it up.

The two western carolina guys were calling Long "double dribbles" and kept saying zero(cromer) couldn't shoot and to not guard him (I don't know if they knew he was second leading scorer in conference but I assumed they did to make it humorous to myself).

I mean when your team is as bad as Western you need guys like this to make the game enjoyable.

Someone said they went after a guys wife in front of thier kids, damn straight I would come out swinging. you want to heckle the players go for it, you cross the line, do so at your own risk. Why would an ETSU fan be mad about two losers running their mouth after ETSU had just won? Just laugh and point at the scoreboard.

I see what you are saying Rod, but legally you can't come out swinging in that situation and should be arrested if you do.

Well if what they did rose to the level of assault (remember legally assault is just the fear of offensive contact)
Then yeah the husband could defend his family. Someone said they got in her face, he could make an argument he feared for her safety.

From what bucfaithful said I assumed no "fear of offensive contact" incurred. Unless we get more information nothing can be concurred about what happened.

I would never come to blows, but my late grandfather once took a punk by the neck and put him on the ground back in the dome. After putting his cane down.

These punk asses got into this man's wife's face and he responded in kind. Couldn't tell who threw the 1st punch. Note too that this couple were with their 2 little 3-4 yr. old daughters..
